On Friday Oct. 24, 2008 the Tbird Co-ed Indoor Soccer trialists had an exhibition game against Mr. Diaz's U18 Girls West Raiders team that just came back from the Canadian National Championship. Considering that 4 of the top Tbirds didn't play to allow the trialists compete for the last few spots on the team, the game was a VERY fast and highly skilled game. It's Tier I calibre attracted quite a crowd in the bleachers watching these highly skilled athletes perform the "futball" that they love. The Coaches has a very difficult time choosing the 22 students for the next exhibition game against Harry Ainley on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at the EastEnd Soccer Centre. THOSE THAT WERE CUT WERE EXCELLENT PLAYERS... WE HOPE TO SEE YOU WHEN WE FILL OUT 3 FULL TEAMS IN APRIL FOR THE OUTDOOR SEASON.
